Application Information
We appreciate your interest in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Program at the Medical Center of Centrallogo2010.gif Georgia. We offer four (4) positions each year and receive approximately 300-350 applications.

Our program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) which is available to all medical students through their respective Dean’s office. If you have any questions concerning the ERAS program please contact your Dean’s office for further information.  We do not accept applications outside the ERAS program.  The department accepts applications through ERAS beginning on September 1 and ending on December 15 of each year. Interviews begin in October and will only be granted to those whose applications are completed.

We will require the following for a completed application:

  • Three (3) Letters of Reference – A letter from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of your medical school, preferably from a senior faculty member or chairman and two letters from  faculty members or staff members who have knowledge of your competence.
  • A Dean’s letter and Transcript
  • Passing Board Scores – preferably 185 or higher

No previous US training is required. We do not sponsor H1 or J1 visas.
