WELCOME ABOARD!

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to your Internal Medicine Rotation.  I am your seal07.jpgClerkship Coordinator and will be the contact person for you during this rotation. I will collect your History & Physicals (H&P’s) and weekly patient logs, schedule your student teaching rounds conferences, maintain your attendance and handle the overall clerkship needs in conjunction with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs (Dr. Donner), Student Coordinator (Mary Witherington), Clerkship Director (Dr. Rossana Carter), and Assistant Clerkship Director (Dr. Allison Scheetz).  Our desire is to make this the best rotation possible.  Sincerely,

Please meet at 707 Pine Street, 2nd Floor Conference Room at the designated date and time given for your orientation.

You will be given a packet at orientation with information needed to make this rotation a breeze.  Any questions you might have will be addressed and any special considerations for time off should be submitted, in writing, before orientation.  Feel free to email both me and Dr. Carter with your requests.  We will be glad to work with you on these and need your request ASAP for any needed schedule changes. The email address for Dr. Rossana Carter is carter_r@mercer.edu.

Please feel free to come by the office anytime you need help.  Remember, the only silly question is the one that goes unasked.  My office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  I am located at 707 Pine Street on the second floor.  Dr. Carter is always available by pager number 478-957-1847.

Your needs are important to all of us and we look forward to working closely with you.

Kymberli Hillman, Clerkship Coordinator
