Student Organizations Mercer Rural Health Association The purpose of the MRHA is to educate students and citizens of Georgia about rural health issues in the state by addressing pertinent public health issues through activities, workshops, volunteering, and information distribution through multiple media outlets. In addition, these activities will support the mission of the Georgia Rural Health Association which represents the geographically diverse regions of Georgia and a variety of for profit and non-profit entities. 2011/2012 Officers TBA - President TBA - Vice President TBA - Secretary/Treasurer Mercer Public Health Association The mission of MPHA is to create a forum for the exchange of ideas, the accumulation of experiences, the acquisition of information and skills and the performance of research related to public health issues in communities throughout the state of Georgia, the nation and the world. 2011/2012 Officers Crystal Davis- President Adenike Omoyosi- Vice President Alex Woychek - Secretary Gerald Blaney - Events Coordinator Irene Gamra - Historian Brittany Taylor - Treasurer Student Advisory Board The Student Advisory Board is composed of student representatives (one from each cohort, 1st and 2nd year) who serve on each of the 7 MPH program committees.
