The Family Medicine Clerkship is a required eight-week experience in the third year curriculum. This requirement can be served at any one of six sites across Georgia, including Macon, Savannah, Rome, Morrow, Columbus or Albany. Each clerkship site  (View Sites) supports residency training in Family Medicine and has qualified faculty that teach students the depth and breadth of family medicine. All sites are centrally coordinated through the student's MUSM campus (Macon or Savannah), but each location also has a third year Clerkship Director and Coordinator who ensures a consistent and quality rotation.
