MUSM Family Medicine Interest Group

The Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) promotes interest in primary care, particularly Family Medicine. This student run organization provides meetings, guest speakers, workshops to enhance your learning experience outside of the standard curriculum.

Upcoming dates to remember...

  • September, 5th 2008 - Lunch (12pm - 2pm) with Dr. Alice House followed by a workshop conducted by Dr. Sabry Gabriel.
  • October 6, 2008 - Tar Wars training (12pm - 2pm) - teaching tobacco-free programs to 4th and 5th graders - **This is a community service project.
  • November 5-8 - FMIG Conference (Friday and Saturday) - More information to follow on registration.
  • November 17, 2008 - Intubation Workshop (12pm - 2pm) - learn how to intubate
