About images.MD

images.MD compiles over 48,000 high-quality images spanning all of internal medicine, all derived from Current Medicine’s series of illustrated atlases. Each image is accompanied by informative text. images.MD content is comprised of more than 90 collections, covering a wide spectrum of clinical medicine.

What is "My Slides?"

By creating a personal images.MD account, you can access the My Slides software, which lets you create and manage slidesets, each containing up to 100 images.

My Slides allows you to:

• Edit figure titles and legends
• Change the order of the images in your slideset
• Run simulated slidesets online
• Convert your slidesets into PowerPoint® presentations
• Send presentations with 20 or fewer images to any email address, free of charge
• Create a CD-ROM of larger, or multiple, presentations

How Can I Use images.MD?

Subscribers have unlimited personal use of the images for the life of their subscription. This covers lectures, presentations, research, etc. (any non-commercial use). You cannot publish the images, in print or online, without acquiring standard permissions through the images.MD permissions department. The exception would be for teaching purposes on a password-protected Web site, or printed handouts in a lecture or presentation. All content contained in images.MD is for personal use only and is copyrighted by Current Medicine, Inc. and Current Science, Inc. except where otherwise specified. For information about acquiring permissions to use any of the images in our library, please contact the images.MD permissions department by sending an email to permissions@images.md

Access to images.MD is limited to Mercer University School of Medicine faculty, staff and students.
