Application Information
We appreciate your interest in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Program at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. We offer three (3) positions each year and receive approximately 125 applications. Our program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), which is available to all medical students through their respective Dean's Offices. If you have any questions concerning the ERAS program please contact your Dean's Office for further information.
Two (2) Letters of Reference -A letter from The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of your medical school, preferably from a senior faculty member of chairman and a letter from a faculty member or staff member who has knowledge of your competence.

Board Scores
All residents are required to have a Georgia medical license by the end of their second year. Foreign medical graduates will need to have two years prior U.S. post-graduate training in order to obtain their license. You may contact the Georgia Medical Board at (404) 656-3913 if you have any questions regarding licensure. We do not sponsor H1 or J1 visas.

The department accepts applications through the ERAS beginning on August 15 and ending on December 15 of each year. Interviews begin after the Dean's letters are received in November and will only be granted to those whose applications are complete.
