LRC Resources & Facilities

Many standard office suite software titles are available on both PC and Macintosh computers. You may view a list of Applications Software available in the LRC [PDF format]. This document is also available in paper format in the LRC; please ask at the circulation desk.

Instruction and assistance in using any of the software installed on LRC computers is available from LRC staff, please ask for assistance.

LRC Classrooms

Room 201 Features

Room is normally set up in classroom style. For special set-ups please speak to LRC staff at least 48 hours in advance of your event.

Audiovisual & Computer Equipment

• TV (19") & VCR (VHS) on cart. May hook up to LCD projector
• Overhead projector on cart.
• LaserDisc player with remote. May hook up to LCD projector.
• Slide projector with remote.
• LCD projector, ceiling mounted with cables to video and computer equipment
• MUSM network connections for Internet access
• Phone line (1) 301-5358
• Satellite conference hookup
• Camera, permanently attached to ceiling with connection to TV/VCR combo.
• Large x-ray viewer

Furniture & Other Equipment

• 26 tables & 78 padded chairs (extra chairs available)
  
• Whiteboards, one large at front, 2 smaller ones on right side of room.
• Large projection screen at front, 2 smaller ones on right side of room.

Wet Lab

Wet Lab Features

• 11 microscopes (1 seven-head, 6 Meiji, 4 others)
• 1 spirometer for Pulmonology phase
• Refrigerator with freezer compartment. Do not store any chemicals!
• 2 sinks, handsoap and towel dispenser
• Cabinets with storage space for various programs supplies
• 5 tables with 2 chairs per table
• Sharps container
• Wound closure instruments, large clipboard and markers
