Project: Tutor Peer Review Process
During the 2006-2007 academic year, all tutors were reviewed by a faculty colleague. The intent of the reviews is to provide feedback to each tutor. Two observations occur during each phase, with a written summary given to the tutor. The tutors and the tutor reviewers evaluated the process. It appears to be helpful. A summary of the outcomes is available. The TDT recommended that tutors all be evaluated every 2-3 years. Requests can be made by faculty tutors or students if they would like a review prior to this time period.
