Faith and Ethics

On March 1, 2010, second year MUSM students Morium Chowdhury and Laurie Wilson presented the results of their Summer Scholar research.  Download PowerPoint presentation 

The purpose of their research was to develop a questionnaire to assess attitudes towards potentially controversial medical decisions, and to conduct a preliminary survey of medical students to determine whether a student's faith influenced his or her answers to the scenarios posed.  Both Laurie and Morium have expressed an interest in continuing this work, refining the questionnaire and distributing it to larger and more diverse samples.
