September 2008 schedule
Your grade for the Community Medicine II Ethics portion is based on attendance at three lectures, participation in one group and the submission of two short papers (roughly two pages), due by 5 PM Monday September 29, 2008. The first paper will present an analysis of any one of the three cases (your choice) discussed in group involving an ethical dilemma in clinical research. The cases are linked on the Ethics of Clinical Research page below. The second paper should analyze and make recommendations in the case of
Steve's dilemma involving a possibly impaired colleague. Papers will be graded pass-fail, and both papers must pass in order to pass the course.
