Accreditation

The MFT program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriag07MedSchoolSeal2Cmacsav.jpge and Family Therapy Education of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.  Students enrolled in the clinical practicum must accrue a minimum of 500 hours of client contact with the majority consisting of couples and families.  In addition, students receive a minimum of  100 hours of intensive supervision from MFT Clinical faculty.  The majority of the supervision must occur by means of direct observation which includes live supervision and video tape review.  The MFT program requires a minimum of 48 semester hours.
