Diversity – Racial and Cultural Composition of Faculty and Students

MFT Program Diversity Statement (Adopted 2016)

As a program, we strive to create a safe and inclusive space celebrating individuality and uniqueness of the human experience. To that end, we challenge our faculty, staff, and students to examine their own power and privilege within their social location, and to develop cultural humility and responsiveness in their own lives and in their interactions with the world around them. We do this through the development of a climate of safety, respect, inclusion, and appreciation of diverse, marginalized, and/or underserved and underrepresented populations. We do this through an emphasis on service learning and participatory action.

Program diversity is reflected in the composition of our student body, faculty, and clinical supervisors. Follow the links below for details.
