Mercer Medicine Adds Endocrinologist and Rheumatologist to Group
MACON, GA, — Mercer Medicine and the Mercer University School of Medicine welcome the addition of Larry M. Kohse, MD, endocrinologist, and Bridget M. Wright, MD, rheumatologist.
Board certified in endocrinology and metabolism, Dr. Kohse specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the endocrine system, including diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, pituitary disease, androgen disorders in women, and other metabolic diseases. In academic and private practice for many years, he earned his medical degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and completed his endocrinology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kohse is a clinical professor of internal medicine and chief of the endocrinology division for the Mercer University School of Medicine. Board certified in rheumatology, Dr. Wright specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and other musculoskeletal diseases in adults and children. In private practice in Macon since 2006, she earned her medical degree from the Mercer University School of Medicine, and completed her rheumatology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Wright is a clinical associate professor of internal medicine, a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics, and chief of the division of rheumatology for the Mercer University School of Medicine.
