Special Programs Admission Information

The four-year curriculum is delivered at both the Macon and Savannah campuses and the third- and fourth-year curriculum is delivered at the Columbus campus. The Doctor of Medicine curriculum has been organized and designed to support the mission of the school to train physicians to meet the healthcare needs of rural and other underserved areas of Georgia. The curriculum is patient-centered, providing early application of medical and clinical knowledge in a variety of classroom and clinical venues. The program fosters the development of independent, lifelong learning skills.
