On March 21, Mercer University School of Medicine celebrated the 2025 National Residency Match Day, a nationwide event that serves to tell upcoming graduates what residency programs they will enter after commencement.

Physician's Physician Award
This award is given each year to the MD graduate who most exemplifies the ideals of a caring and trusted physician. Chosen by their peers, the recipient is recognized as the classmate who best demonstrates compassion, empathy, clinical excellence, and the qualities they would seek in their own health care provider.
