Year 1 Orientation
Held in August, orientation is our formal welcome to the medical school for first-year med students. This four-day introduction, is a chance to meet the School of Medicine Dean, campus leadership and fellow classmates. It also includes helpful training sessions, an overview of campus resources, and so much more.
White Coat Ceremony
The White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage at the School of Medicine. In the presence of faculty, staff and family, medical students are welcomed into the profession of medicine donning their first white coats. As a class, students recite the Hippocratic Oath for the first time to acknowledge their commitment to caring for patients.

Match Day
Class of 2024 Residency Match Results
Med students across the nation celebrate Match Day each March. In fact, this day could be considered the most exciting day in a medical student’s journey. It’s the day where students discover where they will complete their postgraduate residency training.
