The mission of the Family Therapy (M.F.T.) program is to transform M.F.T. and medical students into competent and compassionate professionals who work collaboratively to meet the needs of individuals, couples, families and communities, including the rural and underserved. Emphasizing interactive and problem-based teaching strategies, our student-centered faculty provides a conceptual and practical foundation that equips graduates to be discerning consumers and innovative producers of scholarship across a variety of clinical and academic settings.
