Mercer’s Master of Family Therapy is a two-year program designed for those ready to turn compassion into clinical skills as a marriage and family therapist. Through advanced coursework, mentorship and hands-on training, you’ll build the expertise needed to foster healing where it’s needed most.
As a graduate of the MFT program, you’ll be prepared to:
- Deliver comprehensive assessment and treatment to children, adults, couples and families
- Begin professional practice in clinics, schools, hospitals and community agencies
- Champion access to mental health care in rural communities
- Pursue licensure as a marriage and family therapist through a clear clinical pathway
