Message from the Program Director

Christy BridgesThank you for your interest in the Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MSBMS) program. If your goal is to go to professional school or pursue advanced graduate studies, this program may be right for you. Our program is designed to help improve your academic foundation, as well as prepare you for an advanced degree.

Our MSBMS program has been consistently successful at preparing our students for future academic and professional endeavors. Our faculty is strongly committed to both excellence in teaching and research.  We strongly encourage and support diversity in both our faculty and student body. Our small student population ensures that students will receive the individual attention, tailored advising and research opportunities necessary for success. In addition to a supportive mentor, students will develop a strong and supportive connection to the faculty.

Faculty and students at Mercer University School of Medicine are highly collegial. Faculty, medical students, undergraduate students, graduate students and postdocs all share common laboratory space. Students benefit from the collegial nature of the department and school.

Our program is designed to prepare students for continued success academically and professionally. If you have questions regarding admission requirements, please contact us at musmadmissions@mercer.edu.

Sincerely,

Christy C. Bridges, Ph.D.
