Scholarship and Stipend

Students in good standing in the Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences program are eligible for a tuition scholarship for 55 of the 75 credit hours required for completion of the program.

This begins in the second semester (spring) of the program and covers all credit hours other than the four formal courses taken in the first and second semesters of the program (fall semester: BMS 610, 612, 622; and one course in spring semester chosen from among BMS 611, 620, 621 and 626; see curriculum outline).

Students in the program will also be eligible for a Graduate Research Fellowship beginning spring semester (January) of the first academic year of the program. This fellowship comes with a stipend of $18,000 per year, payable at $1,500 per month, and continues through May of the second and final academic year of the master’s program.
