Simulation Center
The Savannah Simulation Center gives students the chance to practice real-life medical scenarios in a safe, controlled environment. Clinical skills
The Clinical Skills wing features 13 patient exam rooms where students work with standardized patients to develop essential skills in medical interviewing, physical exams, and documentation. The Landings Cancer Research Scholars Program supports medical students in conducting hands-on cancer research at Mercer University School of Medicine’s Savannah campus. Under the guidance of faculty mentors, students spend the summer working on laboratory projects aimed at advancing cancer knowledge. This program is funded by The Landings Women’s Golf Association Together for a Cure

Medical Library
The Skelton Medical Library branch in Savannah is open 24/7 with Mercer ID card access. Students have full access to thousands of medical texts, journals, and online resources. Savannah’s campus includes small group tutorial rooms, a large auditorium with remote learning technology, and distance learning classrooms. These spaces foster teamwork, case-based learning, and collaboration between all Mercer campuses.
Administrative and faculty offices
Located on the first floor, Savannah’s dean suite houses the offices of the campus dean, student affairs, academic affairs, and financial aid—making it easy for students to gain guidance and support throughout their medical education. Faculty offices are conveniently located on the second floor, allowing students easy access for office hours and meetings.
Common areas
Students can relax, refuel, and connect in the spacious atrium or second-floor lounge. These areas are designed for informal studying, socializing with classmates, or taking a well-deserved break between classes.
